Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Selection Process 2026

The selection process of Allahabad High Court Private Secretary is designed to recruit highly skilled candidates who can efficiently assist the judge and manage confidential administrative tasks. Candidates applying for the Private Secretary post must go through several stages.

Stage 1: Divided into three parts-

• Part A: A written test will be conducted in stage 1. In the written test, there are 100 questions that will be asked for 200 marks. There is no negative marking and no minimum qualifying criteria. After the written exam, the recruitment authority will shortlist the candidates for the next stage.
• Part B: This part of the test consists of the Computer Knowledge Test for 100 marks. The duration of this test is 15 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks for this test are 50 marks.
• Part C:  Part Cis Subjective Type Translation Test for 100 marks, and the authority will also give 15 minutes to complete this test. The minimum qualifying marks are 50 out of 100.

Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be called for stage 2. In the stage 2 exam, the conducting body conducts the Shorthand Dictation Test. There are 5 minutes provided for dictation and 30 minutes for transcription. The minimum qualifying mark for this stage is 160 marks out of 200 marks.

Stage 3: Candidates who qualified the stage 1 & 2 will be called for the next round of the selection process, an interview for 75 marks.

Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern helps the candidates to understand the structure of the recruitment examination and the types of tests conducted during the exam. In the first stage of the selection process, it tests the knowledge of the English language, General Awareness and basic Computer Skills.

• In the written test, a total of 100 questions will be asked.
• The maximum mark of this test is 200.
• After the written test, the Computer knowledge test will be conducted for 100 marks.
• At the end of the first stage, the Subjective type translation test will be conducted by the exam-conducting authority for 100 marks.
