CG TET Question Paper 2026 (1st February), Paper 1 & 2 PDF

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) has successfully conducted the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test on 1st February 2026. Chhattisgarh TET Question Paper 2026

CGPEB conducts CG TET 2026 for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8. CG TET Paper 1 is divided into five sections, namely Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. CG TET Paper 2 is divided into four sections, namely Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English/Urdu/Sanskrit), and Mathematics & Science/Social Science.

CG TET Question Paper 2026 Format

There are two papers, namely Paper-1 for eligibility to teach in Primary Level 1st to 5th, and Paper-2 for eligibility to teach in Upper Primary Level 6th to 8th, and the exam is conducted in offline mode.

CG TET Question Paper 1 2026 Format

  • CG TET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V.
  • The examination is held in offline (pen and paper) mode.
  • The paper consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • A total of 150 questions are asked in the Question Paper for 150 marks.
  • Each question is of 1 mark.
  • The total time duration to solve the question paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • The paper is divided into five sections:
    (i) Child Development & Pedagogy
    (ii) Language I (Hindi)
    (iii) Language II (English/Urdu/Sanskrit)
    (iv) Mathematics
    (v) Environmental Studies
  • Each section contains 30 questions for 30 marks.

CG TET Question Paper 2 2026 Format

  • CG TET Paper 2 is conducted for candidates aspiring to teach Classes VI to VIII.
  • The examination is held in offline (pen and paper-based) mode.
  • The paper consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • A total of 150 questions are asked in the examination for 150 marks.
  • Each question is of 1 mark.
  • The total time duration to solve the question paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • The sections included in CG TET Paper 2 are:
    (i) Child Development & Pedagogy
    (ii) Language I (Hindi)
    (iii) Language II (English/Urdu/Sanskrit)
    (iv) Mathematics & Science or Social Science
    (v) Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II consist of 30 questions for 30 marks each.
  • The Mathematics & Science/Social Science section consists of 60 questions for 60 marks.
  • There is no negative marking.
