Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has released the detailed RRB Paramedical Notification (CEN 05/2026) today, 14 September 2026. RRB has announced a total of 590 vacancies for various Paramedical Categories, including Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist (Entry Grade), Dialysis Technician, ECG Technician, Laboratory Assistant Grade II, Radiographer/X-Ray Technician, Health and Malaria Inspector Grade II, Optometrist, and Audiologist & Speech Therapist.

As per the notification, the online applications will begin from 15 September 2026 onwards at https://rrbapply.gov.in/. The selection criteria include the Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. These posts fall under Pay Level 3 to Pay Level 7 of the 7th CPC, depending on the post.

• Nursing Superintendent – Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. in Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognised institution, along with registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Pharmacist (Entry Grade) – Must have passed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics) followed by a Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) and registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Lab Assistant Grade II – Must have passed a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent.
• Radiographer/X-Ray Technician – Must have passed a Diploma/Degree in Radiography or Radiological Technology.
• Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II – Must have passed a Sanitary Inspector certificate or equivalent public health qualification.
• ECG Technician / Dialysis Technician / Optometrist / Audiologist & Speech Therapist – Candidates must have passed relevant diploma/degree certifications specific to each specialisation.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2027)

• Minimum Age – 18 years
• Maximum Age – 35 years

The fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit card.

• In the RRB Paramedical Exam, questions will be objective-type, multiple-choice.
• The language of the exam is Hindi and English.

• The duration to complete the exam is 90 minutes.
