The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has officially released the OSSTET Certificate 2026 today, 9th April 2026, along with the results, OMR Answer Sheet and qualifying status of candidates in the exam. Qualified candidates in Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) can now download their digitized certificate from the Board’s website www.bseodisha.ac.in by paying the fees.
OSSTET Certificate 2026 Out
Candidates who score equal to or more than the OSSTET Cut Off 2026 are decalred qualified in the OSSTET exam and are awarded the OSSTET Certificate 2026 by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. The validity of the certificate is lifelong and is required while applying for teaching jobs in government and private aided schools in the specific subject area for which they have applied for.

Odisha Senior Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test, also known as OSSTET, is a state-level exam that is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, to determine the eligibility of candidates as secondary teachers in Odisha schools. OSSTET Exam 2026 was conducted on 21st January 2026. for a total of 56,456 candidates registered for Paper I and Paper II. For the exam OSSTET Result 2026 for the exam has been released on 9th April 2026, with the overall pass percentage is 72.38%.

- Visit the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, www.bseodisha.ac.in or www.bseodisha.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads “OSSTET Certificate Download” link
- Click on the link and enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth / Mobile Number
Click Submit / View Result. - Your scorecard and qualifying status will appear on screen
- If qualified, pay the required certificate fee as notified.
- Download the digitised certificate in PDF format.
- Take 3–4 printouts and keep them safely for future use.

Along with the OSSTET Result, the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has also released the OSSTET OMR Answer Sheet 2026, a digital copy of the bubble sheet where candidates marked their answers during the OSSTET exam. Candidates who have not qualified in the examination can download their OMR Answer Sheets from the BSE website, and the response sheet link will remain active till 17th April 2026.
Importance of the OSSTET Certificate
The OSSTET certificate is mandatory for candidates who want to apply for teaching positions in government-recognised secondary schools in the state. However, qualifying for OSSTET does not guarantee a job. Candidates must apply separately for the recruitment exams conducted by the state government
Qualifying Marks (Cut-Off) for the OSSTET Certificate
To receive the OSSTET Certificate 2026, candidates have to qualify the exam by scoring the minimum qualifying marks: The cut-off marks for OSSTET 2026 are 45% for general category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates.
