BHEL Artisan Eligibility Criteria 2025
To apply for BHEL Recruitment 2025, candidates must have passed Class 10 and also hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade. The detailed educational and age criteria for the BHEL Recruitment 2025 are as follows:

BHEL Artisan Selection Process 2025
As per the BHEL Artisan Notification 2025 PDF, the selection process for the BHEL Recruitment 2025 consists of a Computer-Based Exam, which is scheduled for September 2025, and Skill Test/ Document Verification.
Computer-Based Exam (CBE)
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be available in Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, or Tamil (except Foundryman and Electronics Mechanic)

- Based on scores, candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for the Skill Test.

Skill Test & Document Verification
- Shortlisted candidates must appear for Document Verification and Skill Test.
- Skill Test is a qualifying test in nature.
The final selection is based on the computer-based examination. Selected candidates must work at the assigned unit for at least 20 years.
Medical Standards
- Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination by the company’s authorized officer.
- An appointment depends on meeting the company’s health standards.
- There will be no relaxation in medical standards is allowed.
- Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates must submit a self-attested medical certificate showing their disability from a government hospital or medical board linked to the Special Employment Exchange for the handicapped.
BHEL Artisan Exam Pattern 2025
BHEL Artisan Exam consists of 120 objective multiple-choice questions with four options each. Questions and options are provided in three languages: Hindi, English, and one vernacular language based on the candidate’s choice (except for Foundryman and Electronics Mechanic trades).
- Each correct answer gives you 1 mark.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
- The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

Candidates who were Best Apprentice or Runner-up Apprentice in the All India Skill Competitions organized by the Directorate General of Employment and Training. They do not have to take the Computer-Based Test. If they meet other eligibility requirements, they will be directly called for the Skill Test.
BHEL Artisan Salary 2025
Candidates selected for the post of Artisans at BHEL will get a salary in the pay scale ranging from Rs. 29500 to Rs. 65000. Selected candidates will first be appointed as Temporary Employees for one year. During this period, they will receive a fixed salary as per BHEL company policy. Those who are selected will be appointed as Artisan Grade-IV and must work at the assigned unit for a minimum of 20 years from the date of joining.
