Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is going to conduct the UP PGT Written Examination 2026 (Advt. No. 02/2022) on 9th and 10th May 2026 in two shifts each day. The admit cards along with exam information are now available at www.upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates can download the admit card from the UPESSC official website or the direct link provided below in the article.

UP PGT Admit Card 2026 Out

The admit card for the candidates who applied for the exam has been released at www.upessc.up.gov.in, and the link will remain active till 10th May 2026. Those who are appearing for the exam must now download and print their hall ticket to avoid any inconvenience at the last minute.

A total of 4,84,605 candidates have applied for the examination for 624 Post Graduate Teacher vacancies. The exam will be conducted in offline mode (OMR sheet) in two shifts per day across 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh (319 Exam Centres).

How to Download the UP PGT Admit Card 2026?

The candidates who have to download the Uttar Pradesh PGT Admit Card 2026 from the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission official website can follow the steps provided below.

1. Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board, i.e., www.upsessb.org.
2. On the homepage, search for the link UP PGT Admit Card 2026 & click on it.
3. Now enter your registration number, date of birth, and the captcha code.
4. After filling in the login details, click on the submit button.
5. Now the UP PGT Admit Card 2026 will appear on your screen.
6. Download the admit card and take a printout for future use.

UP PGT Exam Shift Timings

The exam for lakhs of candidates has been scheduled for 2 consecutive days (9th & 10th May 2026), and each day there shall be 2 shifts, for which timings are 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

UP PGT Exam Day Guidelines 2026

• Reach the exam centre 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
• Do not leave the exam centre without taking permission from the invigilator.

• Carry your UP PGT Admit Card
• Carry one original photo ID (Aadhaar card preferred; it must show date of birth)/PAN card / Passport / Driving Licence / Voter ID may be accepted.
• Bring 2 passport-size photographs

• Electronic Gadgets – Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre.
• Study Materials – Books, notes, or any other kind of reference material is strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
