UP PGT Cut Off 2026, Category-wise Male & Female Cut-Off Marks

Cut-off is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in the written exam to be eligible for the next stage i.e. Interview. UPESSC will soon announce official category-wise, gender-wise, and subject-wise cut-off marks at www.upessc.up.gov.in. Till then, candidates can check the expected cut off marks and previous year cut off marks given below.

UP PGT Cut Off 2026

UP PGT Result 2026 has been declared on 2nd June 2026 along with the merit list of candidates shortlisted for the next round. Now the candidates must be waiting for the release of UP PGT Cut Off marks. The cut-off marks for each subject, category (General/UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST) and gender (Male & Female) will be released separately.

The UP PGT Cut Off 2026 is not fixed – it changes every year depending on several factors. Here’s what influences it:

• Total Vacancies Available: Usually, the lower the vacancies, the higher the cut-off.
• Number of candidates appeared: Higher competition, higher cut-off.
• Difficulty level of the exam: A tougher paper implies a lower cut-off.
• Category of the candidate: The cut-off for SC, ST and OBC candidates is lower than that of the General category.
• Gender: The cut-off for females is usually a few marks lower than the cut-off for males.
• Subject chosen: Cut off varies greatly from subject to subject.
