TN TRB Notification 2023-24 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay an application fee to complete the TN TRB Application forms. Candidates belonging to the general category have to pay Rs.600/- and candidates from SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled persons have to pay Rs. 300/-. The application fee will be paid in online mode through the Net banking/ Credit Card / Debit Card.

TN TRB Notification 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates who want to apply online for Graduate Teachers/ Block Resource Teacher Educators posts must satisfy their eligibility criteria before submitting application forms. If candidates do not fulfill the eligibility standard in terms of educational qualification and age limit their application forms will be rejected.

TN TRB Educational Qualification

The Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree (B.A./B.Sc) in Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History/ Geography etc from a recognized University. Candidates not having the following educational qualifications, as on the date of notification shall not be eligible to apply for the TN TRB Vacancy 2023.

• Candidates must possess graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR)
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). (OR)
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (OR)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). (OR)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. (OR)
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., (Special Education) and Must have obtained a degree or its equivalent with such Subjects or languages in respect of which recruitment is made. (AND)
• Pass in Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – II with relevant optional subject for direct recruitment.

TN TRB Age Limit (as on 01/07/2023)

The candidate belonging to the General Category maximum age should not be more than 53 years. Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW of upper age should be 58 years.

TN TRB Selection Process 2024

The selection process for TN TRB Notification will be based on the Tamil Language Eligibility Test, Written Test, and Certificate Verification. Candidates who qualify at all stages of the selection process will be appointed for Graduate Teachers/ Block Resource Teacher Educators posts.

TN TRB Exam Pattern 2024

• The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test only.
• The Tamil Language Eligibility Test will be conducted in an objective type consisting of 30 questions for 50 marks and the duration of the examination will be 30 minutes.
• The syllabus for the Tamil language eligibility examination is of 10th standard level.
• The main written examination will consist of  Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each.
• The time duration for the main written exam will be 180 minutes.
