OSSC CGL Selection Process 2024

The selection process for Odisha CGL Group B & C posts will be held in 3 phases i.e. Preliminary examination and a Main examination and Certificate Verification. Candidates who clear the prelims examination will be called to appear for the Odisha Staff Selection Commission mains Examination followed by certificate verification. Candidates have to qualify for each stage of the selection process to get selected for various Group B & C posts.

  3. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.

OSSC CGL Mains Syllabus 2024

The OSSC CGL mains exam consists of 2 papers, paper 1 for language paper (Odia and English) and paper 2 for general studies. Candidates who will clear the prelims examination will have to appear for mains examination, which will be for a total of 200 marks including two papers of 100 marks each.

  1. For the OSSC CGL Mains Exam, there will be 2 Papers.
  2. The questions in Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be both Multiple Choice and Short Answer types.
  3. Each paper will be of 100 marks and 2.5 hours duration.
