OSSC CGL 2025 Important Dates

Odisha Staff Selection Commission has released OSSC CGL Notification 2025 on 12th December 2025 for the recruitment of candidates for the Group B & C posts. The online registration and form submission process will start from 19th December 2025 onwards. Further important dates are mentioned below. 

OSSC CGL Vacancy 2025

This year, Odisha Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2025 is going to be conducted for the recruitment of 1576 vacancies of Auditor, Assistant, Inspector of Endowments & Co-operative Societies, Junior Assistant, and other posts under various departments.

OSSC CGL 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2025, the candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria as expected to be mentioned in the OSSC CGL Notification 2025.

General Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently. Also,

• He/she must have passed the middle school examination with Odia as a language subject OR
• He//she must have passed the HSC examination with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects.
• He/she must have passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above from a school or educational institution recognized by the Odisha government.
• He/she must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English school standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Govt..of Odisha.

Education Qualification

Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university and must have basic computer knowledge, such as proficiency in the use of the Computer, internet, e-mail, word processing, data analysis, and presentation.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

Candidates who fall in the age group of 21 to 42 years are eligible to apply for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2025. Candidates must note that it is the expected age limit, but the actual age limit will be released along with the notification.

OSSC CGL Online Form 2025-26

The online application portal for accepting the OSSC CGL Online Form 2025-26 will begin on 19th December 2025. The direct link to apply for the OSSC CGLRE 2025 Exam will be available here once activated officially activated at www.ossc.gov.in. All interested candidates have to submit their applications through online mode only. No application through any other mode will be accepted. 

OSSC CGL Application Fee 2025

While completing the application form for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2025, candidates have to pay an application fee. The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- (other than SC, ST, and PwD categories). The examination fee paid shall be refunded to the candidates who actually appear in the recruitment examination.

Steps to Apply Online for OSSC CGL Recruitment 2025

2. Scroll down the homepage and click on "Online Application of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B & Group-C Posts/Services-2025 (CGLRE -2025) under different Departments/HoDs of Govt. of Odisha".
3. To apply for this recruitment, there will be two stages: Registration and an application form.
4. Candidates need to register themselves by providing a valid email id and mobile number.
5. After Registration, tap on Apply Online and log in by entering your email ID and password generated at the time of Registration.
6. Fill in the required information in the application form, such as personal details and educational qualifications.
7. Upload documents in the prescribed format.
8. Cross-verify all the information provided by you and click on submit. 
9. Pay the requisite fee as per your category.
10. Download and take a printout of the OSSC CHSL Application Form 2025-26 for future reference.

OSSC CGL 2025 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for Odisha CGL Group B & C posts will be done through the Preliminary examination and the Mains examination. The candidates who qualify in the OSSC CGL Mains exam will be called for Certification verification before final selection.

OSSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern

OSSC CGL Recruitment 2025 Selection process will include Prelims, Mains, and Computer Skill Tests. The candidate has to qualify in each stage to get selected for Group B & C vacancies. Before preparing for any exam, knowing the exam pattern for each stage is important.

OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern

1. There will be 150 MCQs. for 150 marks in the exam.
2. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
3. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
4. The level of questions asked will be of the 10th standard.

OSSC CGL 2025 Salary

Various posts under OSSC CGL Recruitment 2025 are expected to get paid as per the Pay Levels 9 and 4 of ORSP, 2017, after being hired for the respective roles. As expected, the Junior Assistant HOD and all the Group C posts get Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200/- as per the pay level 4.
