CBSE is accepting online applications for various Teaching & Non-Teaching posts for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The last date to apply was extended till 11th December 2025, so candidates who have missed the opportunity are advised to submit their application without further delay. KVS NVS Apply Online 2025

CBSE has released an official notice with an increase of the number of vacancies for KVS NVS Recruitment which is now 15762 teaching and non-teaching vacancies. Candidates must complete their online applications before 11th December 2025 (11:50 pm), to qualify for the exam scheduled on 10th & 11th January 2026.

Vacancies to be Filled Through KVS NVS 2025

KVS aims to fill 9921 vacancies across teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalayas, and NVS targets 5841 vacancies for various teaching and non-teaching positions in Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode. If a candidate fails to pay the application fee, his application will be termed incomplete and will not be considered eligible to appear for the exam.

KVS NVS Eligibility 2025

KVS NVS 2025 eligibility varies by post, with general requirements including specific educational qualifications like a Master’s degree for PGT/Principal, a Bachelor’s degree for TGT, and a 12th pass with D.El.Ed/B.Ed for PRT. CTET is mandatory for PRT, TGT, and some other teaching posts.

Age limit (as on 04/12/2025): Varies by post. An upper limit of 40 years is common for some positions, with age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

How to Apply Online for KVS NVS Exam 2025?

Candidates can follow the step-by-step process below to apply online for the KVS NVS Vacancy 2025.

Part 1. Apply For Online Registration

• Firstly, candidates have to visit the official websites of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), KVS, and NVS, i.e., https://www.cbse.gov.in/, https://kvsangathan.nic.in/, and https://navodaya.gov.in/, respectively.
• Candidates must first complete the registration form by entering basic details, creating a password, selecting a security question, and providing an answer to it.
• Upon successful submission, a system-generated Registration Number will be issued. This Registration Number, along with the password, will be used for all future logins.

Part 2. Fill Online Application Form

• Log in using your Registration ID and Password. If already registered, use your existing credentials to log in.
• Now, click on “Apply” appearing on the right side of the homepage.
• Fill the Application Form and submit details such as personal, educational qualification, etc.
• Candidates will see individual links to apply for the available posts. Candidates can apply for the post(s) for which they meet the eligibility criteria
• Upload of scanned images of their photograph and signature.

Part 3.  Pay Examination Fee

• Candidates are required to pay the post-wise examination fee.
• The fee must be paid online using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card by selecting the appropriate payment option and following the on-screen instructions.

Part 3.  Download Application Form

• After successful payment, a Confirmation Page will be generated.
• Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
