RITES Senior Technical Assistant Selection Process 2025

The selection process for Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical Discipline) is based on two stages:

Written Exam: The examination will be conducted for 125 marks, which must be completed in 2.5 hours

Document Verification: Based on the written test exam and the number of vacancies, documents uploaded during the online application will be verified by RITES.

Candidates must appear for the written test as per the schedule and venue mentioned in their admit card.

• The total number of questions is 125.
• The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours (PWD candidates get 50 extra minutes)
• The marking is 1 mark per question
• No negative marking for every incorrect attempt

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD (for reserved posts): 45%
