The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 on 8th January 2026, exclusively for candidates applying for 15762 teaching and non-teaching positions. These admit cards are available online through the official CBSE website (www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html), as well as on the KVS (www.kvsangathan.nic.in) and NVS websites (www.navodaya.gov.in)
KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 Out
The offline exam has been scheduled for 10th and 11th January 2026 in two shifts each day (9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm). More than 15 lakh applications have been accepted this year, and now the admit cards have been uploaded with all details of the exam day, reporting time and exam day instructions. The selection will be done through three stages, including Tier 1: Offline OMR-Based Exam (Pen-Paper mode), Tier 2: Objective + Descriptive, and Skill Test/Interview (post requirement).
KVS NVS Tier 1 Admit Card 2026
This is the first time CBSE is held responsible for conducting a common recruitment exam for both KVS and NVS vacancies. The Tier 1 exam for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) recruitment will be conducted throughout the country, and the exam centre details have been disclosed through the candidates’ respective admit cards.

KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 Download Link
The download link for the admit card has been activated at www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html, www.kvsangathan.nic.in, and www.navodaya.gov.in. If you have applied for 15762 KVS NVS Vacancies and are going to appear for the exam on 10th and 11th January 2026, download immediately using your registration number (starting with 2598) and password. Print two copies with photo ID. Exams in two shifts daily; biometric verification mandatory.

Steps to Download Admit Cards-
Step 1- Open the official website, www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html OR www.kvsangathan.nic.in OR www.navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2- Now, on the home page, look for the text- Recruitment of Various Teaching & Non-teaching Posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
Step 3- Click on the “Admit Card” link, and a new login page opens on your screen.
Step 4- Now enter your Registration Number and password and fill in the security code.
Step 5- Submit, verify details, and download KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 to take a printout.
Note- In case you forgot your registration number or password, click on the “Forgot Registration Number” or “Forgot Password” link on the login page and follow the instructions to recover it.
KVS NVS Exam Schedule 2026
The admit cards has been released with a complete schedule for the exam day. The reporting time for the morning shift is 8:00 and for the afternoon shift is 1 pm. The post-wise exam dates and shift timings are as follows-

KVS NVS Exam Pattern & Scheme
The exam pattern for KVS and NVS is common for all posts (except for Multi-Tasking Staff). The duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes), and candidates have to attempt 100 questions. Each correct answer is marked for 3 marks, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
- Subjects- For all posts except MTS- General Reasoning, Numeric Ability, Basic Computer Literacy, General Knowledge, Language Competency Test (English), Language Competency Test (One other Modern Indian Language*)
- Subjects- For MTS- General Awareness & Current Affairs, Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation, Language Competency Test (English), Language Competency Test (One other Modern Indian Language)

KVS NVS Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must follow the instructions on the exam day so that the exam could be processed in a smooth way.
