DSSSB ASO Selection Process 2026
The selection process for DSSSB ASO consists of the following stages:
Stage 1- Written Examination (Tier I): 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 200 marks.
Stage 2- Written Examination (Tier II): Objective typer & descriptive type
Stage 3- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written exam merit list are called for document verification. Original certificates of educational qualifications, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents must be produced.
Stage 4- Medical Examination: Selected candidates may be required to undergo a medical fitness examination as per departmental norms.
Stage 5- Final Merit List: The final selection is based purely on the marks secured in the written examination. There is no interview for the ASO post.
DSSSB ASO Exam Pattern 2026
- Tier 1 is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting entirely of objective-type (MCQ) questions, while Tier 2 Paper will consist of 300 questions both objective and descriptive.
- DSSSB ASO Tier-I examination is only qualifying in nature and used for short listing only. However, mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria will be applicable in Tier-I Examination.
- A deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong MultipleChoice Question (MCQ) answer of 01 marks question.
