CTET Answer Key 2026 Out, Download Paper 1 & 2 Response Sheet PDF

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional CTET answer key and response sheet for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session today, on 12th March 2026. Candidates who appeared for the eligibility test can now download their answer key from the official website, www.ctet.nic.in or the direct CTET 2026 Answer Key PDF links hared in the article, using their login credentials: application number and password. 

CTET Answer Key 2026 Out

The Central Board of Secondary  Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 on 7th and 8th February 2026 and re-exam on 1st March 2026 across multiple exam centres. After the release of CTET Answer Key, candidates can use it to verify responses, estimate scores, and raise objections before the final result is announced. Candidates also have the opportunity to raise objections against any answer they believe is incorrect by 15th March 2026 (11:15 pm).

The official answer key for CTET 2026 Paper 1 and Paper 2 is now available from the Central Board of Secondary Education at www.ctet.nic.in. Steps to Download CTET February Answer Key 2026

1. Visit the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at www.ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the link that reads “Key Challenges (CTET February 2026)” to check your scanned images of the OMR sheet and answer key.
3. Enter login details, i.e., Roll Number and Date of Birth as per the admission certificate.
4. Fill in accurate details and click on the Login tab.
5. CTET Answer Key 2026, along with the correct response, appears on the screen.
6. Download and take a printout of the CTET Answer Key and OMR Sheet for papers 1 and 2, and cross-check their answers.

CTET Exam 2026- Marking Scheme

CTET exam included two papers- I and II, for 150 marks each. After downloading the CTET Answer Key, it is important to understand the marking scheme to evaluate your performance in the examination. The marking scheme for Papers I and II is the same as provided below:

1. The candidates will be rewarded +1 for every correct answer.
2. For wrong/unanswered questions, no marks will be deducted, i.e., there is no provision for negative marking.
3. For incorrect answers, no marks will be deducted.

CALCULATION FORMULA- Total Score = Number of Correct Responses × 1

What Next After the CTET Answer Key?

• The objection window remains open till 15th March 2026 which is open with the provisional answer key release.
• All valid objections are reviewed by subject experts.
• The Final Answer Key is published as a PDF for all sets (A, B, C, D) of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• CTET Result 2026 will be declared based on the final answer key.
• Qualified candidates receive a CTET Eligibility Certificate, valid for a lifetime as per current NCTE guidelines.
