RRB Railway Group D Answer Key 2026 Out, Raise Objection Starts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official RRB Group D Answer Key 2026 for CEN 08/2024 Exam on 17th February 2026, at www.rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional websites. The candidates who appeared in the exam can now download their respective answer keys and response sheets to cross-check the correct responses with their attempted answers. To download the answer key, candidates need their registration number and password. 

RRB Group D Answer Key 2026 Out

The computer-based test was held from  27th November 2025 to 10th February 2026 and more than 60 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. The answer key, along with question papers have been released for all shifts. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download their responses and all question papers with answer keys.

The RRB Group D Answer Key (Response Sheet) helps the candidates to have an estimation of the marks to be scored by them in the examination & have an idea about qualifying for the exam before the declaration of the result. In case the candidates find any answer incorrect, they can challenge the answer key with a fee of Rs. 50 per question before 23rd February 2026.

Steps to download RRB Group D Answer Key 2026

Candidates who have appeared in the RRB Group D CBT 1 Exam can download and check their RRB Group D Answer Key & Response Sheet from the official website by following the steps discussed below. 

Step 1- Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board. 

Step 2- Click on the link provided for “CEN-RRB-08/2024 (PayLevel-1 Posts) : CBT Objection Tracker Viewing of question-paper, responses, keys and raising of objections (if any) to questions/options/keys”.

Step 3:  A new login page opens on your screen.

Step 4: Enter your registration number & password. Fill in the captcha code and click on “login”.

RRB Group D Answer Key 2026- Raise Objection

The candidates can also raise objections before 23rd February 2026 by paying an objection fee. The applicable fee for objecting was Rs. 50/- + Bank Service Charges per question, and the fee will be refunded if the objection is correct. After analysing the objections raised against the provisional answer key, the final answer key will be released.

Steps to Raise Objections to the Railway Group D Answer Key

1. Log in to the answer key link and go to the ‘Objection’ tracker.
2. Candidates need to select the question ID against which they want to raise the objections.
3. Select the desired language.
4. Candidates are also required to mention the reason why they want to raise objections, along with documentary proof.
5. Objections without a valid reason are rejected.
6. To save the objections, click on the "Submit" button.

RRB Group D Answer Key- Marking Scheme

Using the RRB Group D Answer Key, the candidates can calculate the estimation of the scores. For calculating the marks, candidates need to follow the marking scheme released by the board. 

How to Calculate Marks Using the RRB Group D Answer Key?

1. For the correct answers, add one mark. If any answer is wrong, then deduct 1/3 marks
2. Add all the marks for correct answers
3. Add all the marks for incorrect answers
4. In the end, deduct the total marks for correct answers from the incorrect answers. This will give a probable score.

To find your actual score out of the questions attempted, use this formula:

{Raw Score} = {Total Correct}) - {Total Incorrect X ⅓} 

Example:
If you attempted 90 questions, where 72 were correct, and 18 were incorrect:

• Positive Marks: 7
• Negative Marks: 18 X 0.33 = 6
• Raw Score: 72 - 6 = 66

RRB Group D Minimum Qualifying Marks

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: 

1. UR- 40%
2. EWS- 40%
3. OBC(Non creamy layer)- 30%
4. SC- 30%
5. ST- 30%

What After RRB Group D Answer Key 2026?

After the release of the RRB Group D Answer Key (CEN 08/2024), the board will analyse the objections/challenges and prepare the result according to the final answer key. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare the result with the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified in the CBT Exam. Along with the result, cut-off marks and score cards will be released on the official website.
