OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The OSSC combined graduate-level prelims examination is a computer-based online test which will be conducted for a total of 150 marks and includes multiple-choice questions. The detailed exam pattern is provided in the points and table below.

1. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions in the exam.
2. Each question carries 1 mark.
3. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
4. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
5. The level of questions asked will be of the 10th standard.

OSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates who will clear the prelims examination will have to appear for the mains examination, which will be for a total of 200 marks, including two papers of 100 marks each.

1. For the OSSC CGL Mains Exam, there will be 2 Papers.
2. The questions in Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be both Multiple Choice and Short Answer types.
3. Each paper will be of 100 marks and 2.5 hours duration.

OSSC CGL Mains Syllabus 2025

The OSSC CGL mains exam consists of 2 papers, paper 1 for the language paper (Odia and English) and paper 2 for general studies.
