The wait is finally over! Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has officially released the KTET Result 2026 on its official website, www.ktet.kerala.gov.in, on 26th May 2026. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test December 2025 can now visit the official portal ktet.kerala.gov.in and download their scorecards.

As the KTET result has been released in scorecard format, candidates need their registration number and date of birth to check your result. Candidates whose results say “qualified” will be issued a KTET certificate, which is valid for a lifetime.

How to Check KTET Result and Score Card 2026?
Download your scorecard fast and easy. Here is the way to:
- Visit the official website of KTET at ktet.kerala.gov.in.
- Check the homepage for the link that says “KTET 2026 Result”.
- Click on it and a new login window will pop up on the screen.
- Enter your registration number and DOB.
- Select your category (Cat 1, 2, 3 or 4).
- Click the Submit button. Your KTET result & scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the PDF. You’ll need it for later reference.

KTET Qualifying Marks 2026 — How Much Do You Need to Pass?
This is probably the first thing you’re looking for after your score. Here’s the minimum cutoff you need to clear:
- General Category – 60% (90 out of 150)
- Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) – 55% (approx. 82–83 out of 150)
KTET Certificate 2026 Validity
The KTET qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime for all categories. Only the candidates who are declared qualified will be issued with certificates which they can further use for recruitment purposes.
What Happens After the KTET Result 2026?
Passed the test? Here’s how your journey looks from here:
Step 1 – Download Your Certificate. Qualified candidates will be provided with the KTET Certificate 2026. You’ll have to go through a document verification process to get it. Have your educational certificates, mark sheets, identity proof (Aadhaar/ PAN), caste certificate (if applicable) and passport size photographs ready.
Step 2 — Apply for Teaching Jobs- The KTET certificate makes you eligible to apply for teaching jobs which are to be released in Kerala government and government-aided schools in the coming years
Step 3 – Recruitment Process: Candidates, after applying for the vacancies, have to appear for the recruitment stages to get shortlisted for the released vacancy. This is the last step before you find a teaching job.
Step 4 — Do You Want to Improve Your Score? If you are qualified, then you can apply for the next KTET examinations to improve your score. The higher the score, the better you can stand out in the selection process.
