What is the eligibility for BSNL JTO recruitment?
Candidates must have completed graduation and be between 20 and 30 years old to be eligible to apply for Junior Telecom Officer (JTO).

BSNL JTO Selection Process 2026
The BSNL Junior Telecom Officer exam is 1 single tier computer-based examination. Qualified candidates in the CBT exam will be called to the DV and medical exam for a final appointment.

BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Exam Pattern 2026
The BSNL JTO exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, and for each wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 1 mark.

BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Salary Structure 2026
Candidates appointed to BSNL Junior Telecom posts will be offered the monthly salary in the IDA pay scale [E-1] of Rs. 16400/- to Rs. 40500/-. Along with salary, candidates will be entitled to various allowances and perks.
BSNL JTO Bond, Training, and Probation Details
- Period of probation – 2 years
- Bond – Recruited candidates will execute a Bond of Rupees 6 lakh rupees to serve BSNL for a period of at least 5 years
- Training – JTP has to successfully undergo training as follows-
JTO Phase-I training – 10 weeks
Field Training – 4 weeks
JTO Phase-II training – 6 weeks (Specialisation course)
