UP Police SI Result 2026 Out, 12333 Candidates Qualified, Check Your Marks

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has announced the result of the written examination conducted for UP Police Sub-Inspector Examination 2026. Candidates can now check their qualifying status through the result link, which is now avaiable at the official website https://uppbpb.gov.in/. Qualified candidates are now eligible to appear for DV and PST.

UP SI Written Examination was conducted on 14th & 15th March 2026, for which the result, scorecard, and cut-off marks have been released online at the UPPBPB official portal. Candidates need their login details, roll number, and date of birth to check their result, whether qualified or not for the next stage.

As per the result, out of 10,77,403 candidates who appeared, only 2.7 times the vacancies, 12,333 candidates are declared qualified in the written exam and shortlisted to appear for the next round. DV and PST are tentatively scheduled for the 3rd week of May 2026, while PET is to be held in June 2026.

What Does UPSI Result says if mentioned

Shortlisted: Candidates who scored above the cut-off mark are invited for DV/PST (Document Verification/Physical Standard Test).
Not Shortlisted: Candidates who met minimum qualifications but scored below the cut-off were not selected.
Disqualified: Candidates failed to achieve the necessary 35% in each subject/section and 50% total normalized marks.
Absent: Candidates did not attend the examination.

How to Check UPSI Result 2026?

1. Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPBPB), i.e., www.uppbpb.gov.in.
2. Go to the “Latest Notice” section on the homepage.
3. In front of this section, there is a link with the text UP Police SI Result and Cut off 2026, and click on the respective link.
4. A new page opens up. Here, click on the “Candidate Login” button.
5. Candidates are redirected to a new login page. Fill in the required details in the login portal, such as roll number and date of birth.
6. After providing valid login details, click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
7. The UP Police SI Result and Score Card appear on the screen.
8. Finally, click on the ‘Download’ button and save the result for future reference.

UP SI DV & PST PET Schedule 2026

Along with the result and cut off, the tentative schedule for the next stages, i.e. Document Verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) has also been announced. The DV & PST for written exam qualified candidates will be held in the 3rd week of May 2026, and the PET in June 2026.

What After UP SI Result?

After the release of the UP SI Result 2026, the shortlisted candidates must immediately prepare for the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (DV/PST), as it is scheduled for the third week of May 2026. During this phase, candidates have to appear for physical standards (height, chest) and get their documents verified. After that, the candidates have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a final medical examination.

  • Class 12 (Intermediate) Marksheet and Certificate.

  • Category/Caste Certificate: For candidates seeking reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), issued by the competent authority.
