How to Fill UPTET OMR Sheet 2026?- Exam Day Instructions
UPTET is an offline OMR-based exam. Your result is directly dependent on how you fill in the OMR sheet. Errors in bubbling, roll number or booklet code can lead to the invalidation of your answer sheet. Carefully follow these instructions:
- Use Blue or Black Ballpoint Pen Pencils only: Gel pens and ink pens are not allowed to fill the OMR sheet. Keep at least 2 ballpoint pens as a backup.
- Fill Personal Details First: Before attempting any question, fill your Roll Number, Test Booklet Number/Code and other required fields correctly in the designated boxes on the OMR Sheet.
- Bubble Fully and Darkly: Completely and darkly shade each answer bubble. The scanner may not read bubbles that are partially filled, faintly filled, or overfilled.
- Fill in Only One Bubble Per Question: If more than one bubble is filled in for a question, the answer will be marked wrong. If you are not sure, do not mark – there is no negative marking in UPTET
- Don't use whitener or overwrite: Avoid white fluid, correction fluid, overwriting, and extra stray marks on the OMR sheet. These will confuse the scanner and invalidate your answers.
- Verification Before Submission: Please ensure that your roll number, booklet code and all personal details are correctly filled before submitting the OMR sheet. Do not leave required fields blank.
- Rough Sheet Also: Any rough paper/scratch paper provided by the invigilator should be submitted at the end of the examination. Don't take it out of the hall.
