The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has released the OTET Notification 2026 for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)- 2026. The eligible candidates who want to appear for the OTET Exam first have to fill out their application forms at the official website www.bseodisha.ac.in. The OTET Apply Online 2026 will start from 26th March 2026 onwards. Every year, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, conducts the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided schools across the state. Interested candidates can fill out their OTET Application Forms 2026 from 26th March 2026 to 9th April 2026.

The link to OTET Apply Online 2026 will be activated from 26th March 2026 onwards at the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack official website www.bseodisha.ac.in. OTET Apply Online 2026 Application Fee

The candidates who will be applying for the OTET Exam 2026 have to pay an application fee before submitting their OTET Application Form 2026, as the forms will be submitted successfully only when the required application fee is submitted. Payment shall also be made through online mode with the HDFC payment gateway.

Steps for OTET Apply Online 2026

Before going for registration, the candidate shall have to read the instructions, eligibility & applicability for appearing at the OTET-2026. Candidates can appear on Paper I or Paper II or both papers as per their eligibility. The step-by-step process to apply online for the OTET Exam has been shared here.

1. Visit the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack at www.bseodisha.ac.in.
2. On the homepage tab on Examination >OTET Examination> Online Application for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test OTET- 2026> Go to Link.
3. Candidates are redirected to a new page. If you have already registered, click the “Login” button; otherwise, click on “New Registration” to register.
4. On clicking “New Registration”, the OTET-2026 page will be displayed. Enter your name, password (to be created by you), and Mobile No. & e-mail ID, and then click on the Submit tab. (You will have to enter OTP, which shall be sent to your registered mobile no and email ID).
5. Submit your application forms by providing personal information, eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and address.
6. Click on the Payment & Declaration tab to submit the application fee as per category, and then click on the Final Submit tab.

Documents Required for OTET Apply Online 2026

To apply for the OTET 2026 exam online (starting March 26, 2026), candidates must have scanned copies of their recent passport-size photograph, signature, Aadhaar card/voter ID, and academic certificates (Class 10th, 12th, Graduation, and B.Ed/D.El.Ed).

• Scanned Photograph: Recent passport-size color photograph.
• Scanned Signature: Signature on a white background.
• Photo Identification: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
• Educational Certificates:
• Class 10th and 12th certificates.
• Graduation Degree (for Paper-II).
• D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / B.Ed Certificate & Marksheets (as applicable for Paper I or II).
• Residential Proof: Required to prove permanent residency in Odisha.
• Other Details: Active Email ID and Mobile Number for registration, caste certificate (if applicable).
