Applicants must meet the following minimum essential qualifications and fall in the prescribed age group.

Education Qualification- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2026)- Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years of age as on 01 July 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, and other reserved category candidates of Uttar Pradesh as per existing government rules.

Typing- English Shorthand and Typewriting proficiency with a minimum speed of 100 words per minute (shorthand) and 40 words per minute (typewriting).

Essential- Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operation.

AHC Private Secretary Application Fee 2026

While submitting the appliation fee, the candidates have to mandatory pay the required application fee, else the application will be cancelled.

Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Selection Process 2026

The selection process of Allahabad High Court Private Secretary is designed to recruit highly skilled candidates who can efficiently assist judge and manage confidential administrative tasks. Candidates applying for the Private Secretary post must go through several stages.

Stage 1, Part A: Written test will be conducted in stage 1. In the written test there are 100 questions will be asked for 200 marks. There is no negative marking and minimum qualifying criteria. After the written exam recruitment authority will shortlist the candidates for next stage.

Part B: This part of test consists of the Computer Knowledge Test for 100 marks. The duration of this test is 15 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks of this test is 50 marks.

Part C:  Part Cis Subjective Type Translation Test for 100 marks, and authority will also give 15 minutes to complete this test. The minimum qualifying marks is 50 out of 100 marks.

Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the stage 2. In the stage 2 exam conducting body is conduct the Shorthand Dictation Test. There are 5 minutes provided for dictation and 30 minutes for transcription. The minimum qualifying mark for this stage is 160 marks out of 200 marks.

Stage 3: Candidates who qualified the stage 1 & 2 will be called for the next round of the selection process such as Interview. Interview will be conducted for 75 marks.
