PGIMER Nursing Officer Eligibility 2026

Educational Qualification (Option 1): Candidates should possess a B.Sc. (Honours) in Nursing, a B.Sc. in Nursing or a Post-Basic B.Sc. in Nursing degree from a recognised university or institution. They should also register themselves as nurses and midwives with the State Nursing Council.

Educational Qualification (Option 2): Eligible if they have a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised board. They should be registered as a nurse and midwife with a state nursing council and should have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after GNM qualification.

Age: The candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 35 years.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is applicable to Reserved Categories as per rules. SC/ST candidates get relaxation for 5 years, OBC candidates for 3 years and PwBD candidates for 10 years.
