The CTET Exam Answer Key 2026 for Central Teacher Eligibility Test-February 2026 has been officially released on 12th March 2026. The answer key for CTET February 2026 Exam for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 is now officially available to download on the Central Board of Secondary Education’s website, www.ctet.nic.in. CBSE has released the answer key covering all sets and series of the question booklet, which can be downloaded using the application number and date of birth.

CBSE allows candidates to challenge the provisional answer key if they find any answer listed is incorrect, with a payment of Rs. 1000 per question. The window to accept objections/challenges is active from 12th to 15th March 2026 (11:59 pm) and after that no request will be accepted.

How to Download CBSE CTET Exam Answer key & OMR Sheet 2026?

1. Visit the official CTET website at www.ctet.nic.in.
2. Scroll down the page to the Candidate Activity section on the homepage.
3. Click on the link “View/Challenge Answer Key – CTET Feb 2026”.
4. A login page will appear. Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
5. Fill in the captcha code and click on “Login”.
6. Your CTET 2026 Answer Key PDF and your OMR Sheet appear on the screen.
7. Download CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 PDFs to calculate your approximate marks.

How to Raise Objections Against the CTET 2026 Answer Key?

If a candidate is not satisfied with the Provisional Answer Key, they can submit an online challenge within the objection window (typically 2–3 days after key release). The objection fee is Rs. 1,000 per question, refundable if the challenge is accepted by subject matter experts.

1. Visit the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official website at ctet.nic.in and click on the ‘Challenge Answer Key’ link
2. Log in using your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
3. Locate the question number you wish to challenge in the answer key.
4. Click ‘Click to Enter Your Answer’ and select the option you believe is correct.
5. Upload valid supporting proof — e.g., a textbook page, NCERT reference, or academic source
6. Pay the prescribed objection fee of Rs. 1,000 per question via Credit / Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
7. Review and submit. Save the confirmation page for your records

CTET Marking Scheme and Qualifying Marks

Each correct response earns you 1 mark, while incorrect or unattempted questions result in zero marks. This “no negative marking” policy allows candidates to attempt all 150 questions.

To be declared “CTET Qualified”, you must meet the minimum qualifying marks:

• General Category: You need a minimum of 60%, which translates to 90 out of 150 marks.
• Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD): You need a minimum of 55%, which is 82 out of 150 marks.

The certificate holds lifetime validity, making it a one-time achievement for your teaching career in KVS, NVS, and other central schools.
