Bank of India has released the official notification for the recruitment of Credit Officers in the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream under Advt. No. 2025-2601. Through this recruitment, a total of 514 vacancies across MMGS-II, MMGS-III and SMGS-IV scales will be filled. Bank of India Credit Officer Recruitment 2025 Overview

As mentioned in the official notification, the selection process consists of an online examination and/or interview, depending on the number of eligible applicants. The recruitment is for Credit Officers in the GBO stream in three scales: SMGS-IV, MMGS-III and MMGS-II.

BOI Credit Officer Recruitment 2025-26 Eligibility

Education Qualification

For Credit Officer MMGS-II & III (GBO): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognised University/Institute or equivalent. CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA or MBA/PGDBM/2-year PG in Banking/Finance/any credit-related field is also acceptable.​

For Credit Officer SMGS-IV (GBO): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) and MBA/PGDBM / 2-year full-time Master’s degree in any field or CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA from a recognised institute.

Age Limit (as on 01/11/2025)

• Credit Officer MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years
• Credit Officer MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years
• Credit Officer SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years

BOI Credit Officer Apply Online 2025-26

Applications can be submitted only through online mode between 20th December 2025 and 05th January 2026 through the Bank of India website (https://bankofindia.co.in/) under the link “Recruitment of Credit Officers in GBO Stream Project No. 2025-2601”. Once the link is activated at the official website, the same link will also be shared in the article.

Bank of India Credit Officer Application Fee 2025

Candidates who wants to apply for BOI Credit Officer vacancies have to submit their application forms along with the required application fee which is different for General and other categories candidates.

BOI Credit Officer Exam Pattern 2025-26

1. The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except English Language.The
2. English Language is qualifying in nature; its marks will not be added while preparing the merit list, but candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks.
3. The minimum qualifying marks in all tests are 35 for General/EWS and 5 marks less for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
4. There is a penalty of one-fourth of the marks allotted to a question for each wrong answer; no penalty for unanswered questions.
