Bank of India (BOI) has invited online applications from interested and eligible candidates to fill 514 Credit Officer vacancies. The selection process for Credit Officers in the GBO stream for SMGS-IV, MMGS-III and MMGS-II includes the online examination and/or interview.

BOI Credit Officer Recruitment 2025-26 Eligibility

Education Qualification

For Credit Officer MMGS-II & III (GBO): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognised University/Institute or equivalent. CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA or MBA/PGDBM/2-year PG in Banking/Finance/any credit-related field is also acceptable.​

For Credit Officer SMGS-IV (GBO): Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) and MBA/PGDBM / 2-year full-time Master’s degree in any field or CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA from a recognised institute.

Age Limit (as on 01/11/2025)

• Credit Officer MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years
• Credit Officer MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years
• Credit Officer SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years

How to Apply for Bank of India Credit Officer Recruitment 2025-26?

1. Visit the Bank of India (BOI) official website, i.e. www.bankofindia.co.in.
2. In the Important Link section, click on career
3. After clicking on career, candidates will be directed to a new URL-https://bankofindia.co.in/career
4. Look for the “Recruitment of Credit Officers in GBO stream Project No. 2025-26/01 Notice dated 01.11.2025” link and click on it.
5. To register an application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name,
   Contact details and Email ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be
   generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
6. Complete the application form with your personal, educational, and professional details.
7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the
   Guidelines
8. Pay the fee online as instructed. The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa/ RuPay Credit cards, Debit cards, Internet Banking, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, QR or UPI.
9. After reviewing your details, submit the Bank of India Credit Officer Application Form 2025.
10. Print your application form and payment receipt for reference.

Candidates who want to apply for BOI Credit Officer vacancies have to submit their application forms along with the required application fee, which is different for General and other categories candidates.

BOI Credit Officer Exam Pattern 2025-26

1. The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except English Language.The
2. English Language is qualifying in nature; its marks will not be added while preparing the merit list, but candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks.
3. The minimum qualifying marks in all tests are 35 for General/EWS and 5 marks less for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
4. There is a penalty of one-fourth of the marks allotted to a question for each wrong answer; no penalty for unanswered questions.
