The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education is going to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test (APTRT–2026), inviting online applications from candidates who fulfill the required eligibility. Through the recruitment drive, a total of 2,721 teaching vacancies will be filled for School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Principals, Physical Directors and Physical Education Teachers (PET) posts.

AP Mega DSC Vacancy 2026

The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education has announced a total of 2721 vacancies for School Assistants, SGT, TGT, PET, PGT, and Principal posts across Andhra Pradesh state. The post-wise and department-wise AP DSC Vacancy 2026 details, as notified, are as follows:

General Schools (Govt./ZP/MPP/Municipal): 2,111 vacancies

• School Assistants (SA): 906
• Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT): 1,205

AP Mega DSC 2026: Eligibility Criteria

If you are interested in applying for the AP DSC Recruitment 2026, you must carefully review the Eligibility Criteria. This is essential to ensure that you are eligible for the position of Special Education (School Assistants), PGTs, TGTs, School Assistants, and SGTs.

Education Qualification

1. Intermediate or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as approved by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate with a minimum of 50% of the possible points (45% in the case of applicants who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled).
2. Accomplish a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma or a 4-year Elementary Education Bachelor’s degree.
3. As recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Andhra Pradesh, intermediate or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points (the minimum of 40% for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled, according to the NCTE Regulations, 2002); and attain a 2-year elementary education diploma or a 4-year elementary education bachelor’s degree.
4. Attained qualification in Paper I of the Andhra Pradesh Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or TSTET Test.

Age Limit

Candidates in the age group of 18 to 44 years will be eligible to apply for the AP DSC 2026 exam. Further age relaxation for various categories is set as per the norms of the government and has been released with a detailed notification.

AP Mega DSC Apply Online 2026

Candidates interested in positions such as school assistants, secondary grade teachers, principals, PGTs, TGTs, physical directors, and PETs must submit their online applications within the specified timeframe set by the officials.

The online registration link for the Mega AP DSC 2026 will be available on the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education (AP DSC) at https://cse.ap.gov.in/ and https://apdsc.apcfss.in/. AP DSC 2026 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay a certain amount of application fee to complete the AP Mega DSC Application Form 2026. The fee will be paid in online mode through the Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI, and once the application fee is paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

3. On the main page, click on the Payment link, which redirects candidates to the new page.
4. Enter your details like the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, valid mobile number, and Aadhar Number, and click on the Preview form.
5. Enter your educational details and the required details.
6. Submit the required application fee as per category through online mode.
7. Upload your scanned photographs and signature.

AP DSC 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for the Mega AP DSC 2026 has been released post-wise; the selection procedure is different for different posts.  The candidates will be selected through a selection process comprising a written test and other criteria as depicted by the Government.

1. School Assistants: Languages and Non-Language/Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)- Written Exam (80 marks) + 20 marks for APTET (20% weightage)
2. School Assistant (PE) and Physical Education (PET)/PGT – Written Exam (100 marks)
3. TGT-Written Exam (80 marks)

AP DSC 2026 Salary Structure

The starting basic salary of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) is Rs. 21,230/- and for School Assistant is Rs. 28,940/-. Besides this, the selected candidates will also get other benefits and allowances as per the government norms.
