OPSC ASO 2026 Syllabus
The OPSC ASO Syllabus is divided into 3 papers, which include the topics from the subjects mentioned here.
- Paper 1 – General Awareness – This section comprises the topics from the Indian economy, defense, science and technology, environmental issues, national as well as international institutions, national and international events, Indian history, the Indian Constitution, world and Indian geography, governance, etc.
- Paper 2 – Test of Reasoning & Mental Ability and Mathematics – In this section, questions are asked from the Reasoning and Mathematics

OPSC Assistant Section Officer Salary 2026
Candidates appointed as Assistant Section Officers (Group-B) in the Office of the Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 35,400, under Pay Level 9, Cell 1 of the Pay Matrix as outlined in Rule 3 of the ORSP Rules, 2017. In addition to this salary, they will also receive Dearness Allowance and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
