Sail Management Trainee Selection Process 2025
The selection for the Management Trainee (Technical) is based on the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test
- Group Discussion (GD) and Interview
- Merit List and Final Selection
The selection weightage is 75% for the Computer Based Examination, 10% for Group Discussion (GD), and 15% for the Interview. Selected candidates undergo 1-year training as Management Trainees (Technical) and after successful training, candidates will serve a 1-year probation period.
Sail MT Exam Pattern 2025
The examination for Management Trainees will be conducted in Bengaluru, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Durgapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Ernakulam, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mohali, Mumbai/MMR, Nagpur, Patna, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Rourkela, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Vijayawada/Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Vadodara.
- The exam has two parts: Domain Knowledge Test (100 questions, 100 marks) and Aptitude (Quantitative, English, Reasoning, and General Awareness) with 100 questions for 100 marks.
