UPSI Exam Analysis 2026 (14 & 15 March), Shift 1 and 2 Paper & Difficulty Level

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) successfully held both shifts of the UP SI Exam on 14th and 15th March 2026, with approximately 10 lakh candidates participating. As the UPSI Exam is now over, this article provides an analysis of the UPSI Paper from 15th March. Candidates should review the subject-wise difficulty levels and good attempt to know how much the expected cut-off could reach this time.

As per the review of the candidates who appeared in the 1st and 2nd shift of 15th March 2026, the exam was of Easy to Moderate. The questions from Numerical & Mental Ability were calculative and time-consuming. 

UPSI Paper 2026 Exam Analysis

As the board has strictly notified that UP SI paper or any questions asked in UP SI Exam 2026 are not to be shared, so have shared just the good attempts and difficulty level of the exam along with feedback of the candidates. Candidates must score a minimum of 35% in each individual section and a minimum of 50% in total to qualify for the next round. The duration of the exam was 2 hours with 5 minutes of additional time.

UPSI Exam Analysis 2026 Sectional Review

The examination aimed to fill 4,543 Sub-Inspector vacancies across various posts, including SI/Daroga-Confidential, ASI Clerk, and ASI Accounts. The sections of UP Police SI exam displayed a consistent pattern:
