SSC CPO Exam Slot Booking 2025 Reopened, Select Your Exam City, Date & Shift

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the slot selection process for SSC CPO Slot Booking 2025 on 29th November 2025 at www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who missed the opportunity to select their preferred city previously can now select the SSC CPO Slot Selection 2025 has been now choose their preferred exam date, exam city, and exam slot before 4th December 2025 (11 am).

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has introduced the SSC CPO Slot Booking process, allowing candidates to choose their exam city, date, and shift from the preferred choices they made during the application process. Candidates can log in to their SSC account using their registration ID and password and select their preferred SSC CPO 2025 Exam Shift, Date and city. The CBT Exam has been scheduled from 9th to 12th December 2025 for around 5,64,926 candidates who have applied for 5308 vacancies.

Note- Candidates must make sure to select their exam date, shift and city carefully as after that no request will be accepted. 

Steps for SSC CPO Exam Slot Booking 2025

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at https://ssc.gov.in
2. Go to the Candidates Portal, log in using your credentials, and go to “My Application,”.
3. Select an option. Click on Select City, Exam Date, and Shift.
4. Select a preferred date for the examination and click Get Slot Details.
5. Select slots (date and shift) for the three cities chosen during the application.
6. After choosing a date and shift, confirm the choice by validating the OTP (sent to the registered mobile number or email ID).
7. Click Validate & Submit to finalise.
8. Once submitted, the slot, city, and shift cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Important Instructions for SSC CPO Exam Slot Selection/Booking

1. Candidates must finalise their choices before the window closes on 21st November 2025 (11 pm).
2. If preferred cities are full, SSC may assign alternate cities based on availability.
3. For candidates choosing regional language papers, slot availability may be more limited.
4. Once submitted, the date, shift, and city cannot be edited.
5. Failing to select a slot may result in SSC auto-allocating a centre on a best-effort basis.

Not verifying choices before submission: Once a slot is selected and submitted with OTP validation, the choice is final and cannot be changed. Double-checking selected city, date, and shift is essential.​

Overlooking alternate cities or dates: If the preferred slot is unavailable, candidates must promptly choose alternative cities or dates from their previously opted choices instead of waiting or missing the deadline.
