The 6 nations' cricket tournament Asia Cup 2023 is over on 17th September 2023 in Sri Lanka. India Wins Asia Cup 2023

The Winner of the Aisa Cup 2023 was decided today when the two best teams of the tournament India and Sri Lanka played the final match. Team India won the Asia Cup 2023 title by defeating Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. With this win, India won the Asia Cup 8 times and is still the most successful team in the tournament. Sri Lanka suffered a devastating collapse in the final match, managing a mere 50 runs in 15.2 overs. Indian Opener Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan successfully chased down the target in just 6.1 overs with a remarkable 263 balls to spare, setting a new record.

In the final match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first and they scored 50 runs only. Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj brought Sri Lanka down to their knees in just the first six overs of the match by picking a five-wicket haul. In the final match, he performed best in his career with 20/6 figures. With this performance, Mohammed Siraj became the player of the match. Apart from Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah also took 3 and 1 wickets. Sri Lanka were all out 50, their second-lowest score ever in ODIs. 

During India's inning, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill pair put on 32 runs in just three overs. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill took the Indian team to the Asia Cup 2023 trophy as India lifted the Asia Cup after 5 years. Kuldeep Yadav from India became the player of the tournament in Asia Cup 2023.
