CGPSC Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024
The official syllabus for the CGPSC 2024 exam has been released along with its notification. There are two stages of the CGPSC exam, the preliminary exam and the main exam. Candidates who are familiar with the CGPSC Syllabus will be able to determine their strong and weak subjects well in advance of the exam and create a study plan to improve on their weak areas. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks in the Prelims Exam while the Mains exam will not have any negative marking.

Candidates short-listed for the Main Examination based on Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) must appear for all the seven
papers in the Main Examination. Candidates selected for the Interview based on Main Examination must appear in the Interview. Absence
in any paper of the Main Examination and Interview will be liable for disqualification.
