The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced that the UP Home Guard written examination for 41,424 Home Guard (Swayamsevak) posts will be conducted on 25th, 26th, & 27th April 2026. Thousands of candidates appearing for the exam will be able to download their admit card from the official website https://uppbpb.gov.in. The admit card will be released on 22nd April 2026 and UP Homeguard exam city slips have been released on 18th April 2026.
UP Home Guard Admit Card 2026
The hall ticket serves as an entry pass for the exam and must be downloaded online before the exam. Candidates need to use their login credentials to access and download their admit card. The admit card confirms candidates’ eligibility for the exam and will contain the candidate’s roll number, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, allotted exam centre, and other important guidelines for the exam day. Candidates must verify all the details and should reach the exam centre before the reporting time for verification.

How to Download UPPRPB Home Guard Admit Card 2026?
Once the admit card is uploaded by UPPRBP, candidates need to log in by using their registration credentials. To help candidates have a smooth admit card download experience, we have provided the steps below:
- Open the official website of UPPRBP on your device, https://www.uppbpb.gov.in
- On the homepage, go to the “Notices” section, located at the top of the page.
- In this section, look for a link titled “UP Home Guard Admit Card 2026”.
- You will be redirected to a login portal, in which you enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Verification code as displayed in the image.
- Your hall ticket will appear on the screen in a PDF format.
- Download your admit card and make sure to take at least 2-3 printouts before the exam.

Documents to Carry Along with UPPRPB Home Guard Admit Card 2026
On the Home Guard written exam day, candidates must carry certain documents for their identity verification. The exam invigilators will check these documents at the entry gate, and only after proper verification, candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall. The documents that are required on the exam day are:
- A printout of the UP Home Guard Admit Card 2026.
- A government-issued photo ID card, such as PAN Card, Driving License, Election ID Card, Aadhaar Card, or Passport.
- 2 copies of recent passport-sized coloured photographs.

UPPRPB Home Guard Exam Pattern 2026
The exam Home Guard is conducted in offline mode and contains only objective-type questions. There is only one subject in this exam, which is General Studies. An advantage in this exam is that there is no negative marking for wrong answers. To qualify for the written exam, candidates must score a minimum of 25% marks.
