Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially announced the TNPSC Group 2 Exam Date 2025 for Advertisement No.713 along with the notification PDF. The TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group 2 and 2A Services) will be conducted on 28th September 2025 (Sunday) for all those candidates who will successfully register for 645 TNPSC Group 2 & 2A vacancies. TNPSC Group 2 Exam Date 2025

Through the TNPSC Group 2 Exam  2025, candidates will be recruited for various Group 2 & 2A posts, namely Assistant Inspector, Senior Inspector, Senior Revenue Inspector, Assistant / Accountant, Forester, Lower Division (Counter) Clerk, etc.

TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam will be conducted in offline mode on 28th September 2025 with a total of 200 objective-type questions carrying 300 marks. The paper is divided into three sections: Part A – Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test, General Studies, and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. The hall ticket will be released by the 3rd week of September 2025.

TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination – II for Group II  Service posts comprises 3 stages i.e., prelims exam, main written exam, and interview/personality test, and there are only two stages for IIA Services posts, which are prelims and mains exam. TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam will be held on 28th September 2025.
