Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the TNPSC Group 2 & 2A Exam to recruit eligible candidates for civil services posts in Tamil Nadu state. TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam is scheduled for 1st November 2026. Candidates appearing for the exam must carry a hardcopy of the TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2026 to appear for the examination. The candidates have to carry a hard copy or printout of the Hall Ticket 2026 to the exam hall, which can be downloaded through the following steps- 

1. Browse the official website of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) at https://tnpsc.gov.in/.
2. Click on the “Hall ticket download” under the Important links section.
3. You'll be directed to a page where various notifications about downloading hall tickets are available.
4. Search for the TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2026 for the examination
5. Click on the link and submit your login details, like Application ID and DOB

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must understand and follow the important instructions on the date of the exam.

• Candidates must carry the TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2026 to the exam hall on the date of the examination. Otherwise, candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.
• Candidates must ensure to reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the exam time. Once the exam commences, no candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam.
• Along with the hall ticket, candidates must carry one original photo identity proof and 02 passport-size photographs.
• Candidates are not allowed to take any electronic devices like calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc., inside the examination hall
• Candidates must present the hall ticket to the Invigilator, Chief Invigilator, or inspection authorities in the examination hall.
