Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam is a national-level entrance examination conducted in India for admissions to postgraduate programs (M.Tech, ME, and direct PhD) in engineering, technology, and sciences. The GATE 2026 exam organization body Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has announced the GATE Exam Date 2026 at the official website https://gate2026.iitg.ac.in/. As per official schedule, GATE 2026 will be held on 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th February 2026. Candidates planning to appear for exam should mark these dates and prepare accordingly.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026 Date has been announced for 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th February 2026. Exam will be held in computer based mode for general aptitude and the candidate’s preferred subjects. GATE Exam 2026 will be held for a total of 30 test papers. Candidates can appear for one or up to two test papers only. The two test paper combinations will have to be chosen by candidates during the application form from the list of combinations.
