SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Exam Postponed, Check Official Notice and New Dates

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025, which was previously scheduled to be held from 13th August 2025. Now, the Combined Graduate Level Examination will now be conducted in September 2025. A revised Schedule for Tier 1 will soon be released on the official SSC website. Also, the Commission has announced that the One Time Registration (OTR) edit window will be reopened from 14th to 31st August 2025.

Just 5 days before the beginning of SSC CGL Exam, SSC has released the postponed notice on its official website. Due to the ongoing SSC exam controversies, including glitches, and cancellations, the exam has been postponed. The official notice released is attached below.

What’s Next After SSC CGL Exam Postponed?

Now the commission will analyse the issues caused to the candidates in Selection Post, Stenographer exams and take measures to rectify them. After that, the new scheduled for SSC CGL 2025 Exam will be released with revised dates. Most probably, the new exam dates can be released soon as it is mentioned in the SSC CGL Exam Postponed notice that CGL will be held in September 2025.

As officially notified with the release of the official notification and annual calendar, the SSC CGL Exam was to be held between 13th August to 30th August 2025, but due to the problems in the exam held till now, SSC has postponed the exam. The SSC CGL 2025 exam will now be held in September 2025 and the new SSC CGL Exam Date 2025 will be notified shortly. The city intimation slips will be released around 7 to 8 days before the exam date with exam city details for the candidates, followed by the release of admit cards at www.ssc.gov.in.

Highlights of Official Notice

The notice released consists of the following information:

• SSC Phase XIII Exam 2025: 24 July to 1st August 2025 and around 5.5 lakh candidates have appeared in the exam.
• As the Aadhaar authentication was mandatory, but due to technical issues, the data of 55000 candidates was found mismatch .
• The re-exam for these candidates will be held on 29th August 2025 and the admit cards will be released on 26th August 2025.
• The attempt will be considered cancelled.
• SSC CGLE 2025 has been postponed and now the exam will be conducted in September 2025.
• OTR edit facility will be reopened from 14th to 31st August 2025.
