SSC CGL Nationality 

Candidates are required to fulfill all the necessary Eligibility requirements for the SSC CGL 2026 exam. Candidates must meet the nationality criteria as suggested by the authorities for their further selection in the selection process. The detailed nationality criteria are mentioned below:

1. Indian Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen. You must have a valid Indian passport or another kind of proof of Indian citizenship.

2. Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan: If you are a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, you may apply for the SSC CGL exam. To work in India, you must present the necessary documentation and legal authorization.

3. Tibetan Refugees: Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to live permanently in India, are allowed to apply for the exam. They must have the requisite certificates issued by the Government of India to confirm their refugee status.

4. Individuals of Indian origins: Candidates of Indian descent who have moved from specific countries to permanently stay in India may also apply for the SSC CGL exam. They must have the appropriate documentation, such as a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

SSC CGL Physical Standards

Candidates are also required to check the physical and medical standards as per the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2026. The physical and medical standards for some of the posts are also announced by the authorities in the official notification. There are different physical standards for both males and females which are based on parameters like height, weight & chest.
