RRB ALP Notification 2026 Out (11127 Posts), Apply Online Form Starts

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB ALP Notification 2026 (CEN No. 01/2026) for 11127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts. The online application process started on 15th May 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their duly filled applications until 14th June 2026 (11:59 pm) at https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.

Who Can Apply for RRB ALP Recruitment 2026?

Candidates must fulfil all RRB ALP eligibility conditions as on 14 June 2026 (the closing date). All certificates and degrees must be from a recognised Board/University/Institute. Eligibility is cross-verified at every stage, including Document Verification and Medical.

Minimum Educational Qualification- 10th + ITI Relevant trade from a recognised ITI. A diploma or an Engineering Degree is also accepted.

Age Limit- 18 – 30 Years As on 01 July 2026. Relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-SM as per Railway rules.

Nationality- Indian Citizen. Also Nepali, Bhutanese, or an eligible migrant as per the Government norms.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies to be filled through RRB ALP Recruitment 2026. RRB ALP Vacancy has been announced for all 21 RRBs.

RRB ALP Apply Online 2026- Direct Link & Steps

Candidates can apply online for RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 at https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/, before the deadline, i.e. 14th June 206. The candidate can apply only for 1 RRB; in case of multiple applications, the candidate will be rejected for further RRB exams.

Application Fee- 

• SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class.- Rs. 250
• Other Candidates- Rs. 500

The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in the First Stage CBT.

Step-by-Step Guide for RRB ALP Apply Online 2026

Step 1- Visit the official website https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/ and click on the link that reads “Click here to apply Assistant Loco Pilot” under the CEN-01/2026 (ALP)”.

Step 2- Click on the Apply button and choose Create an Account (if new), else directly log in with your details.

Step 3- To create an account, enter your basic details, for example, Personal Information, Aadhar Verification, and Contact Details, and create a password.

Step 4- Now after creating an account, log in using a registered mobile number, mail ID, and password to complete the application form.

Step 5- Select the RRB for which they wish to apply and select the posts and zones within the chosen RRB.

Step 6- Now begin with the filling of the Application Forms. Enter other details, including essential educational qualification details.

Step 7- Upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and SC/ST certificate (if applicable) according to the specifications given in the form.

Step 8- Pay the required application fee through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI Services.

Step 9- Download and take a print copy of the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.

RRB ALP Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive the following RRB ALP Salary as per 7th Pay Commission.

• Pay Level- Level 2
• Initial Basic Pay- Rs. 19,900
• In-hand Salary- Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 35,000 per month.
• Additional Benefits- as per railway rules
