The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has successfully conducted the SSC MTS Exam to recruit eligible candidates for 7948 MTS and Hawaldar vacancies. SSC MTS Merit List 2026

SSC releases the SSC MTS Result in the form of a merit list with the names and roll numbers of the candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process. The candidates have to check their qualifying status from the SSC MTS Merit List using the Ctrl+F shortcut. SSC MTS Merit List 2026 for each stage will be released at www.ssc.nic.in. SSC MTS Score Card and Cut Off 2026

The SSC MTS Cut Off 2026 will be released along with the result PDF in May 2026, and the score card is usually released a month after, along with the final answer key. Candidates scoring equal to or more than cut off marks will be declared qualified in the CBT exam and shortlisted to appear for DV for MTS posts and PET/PST for Havaldar posts. Minimum Qualifying Marks for SSC MTS Havaldar Exam

To qualify for the SSC MTS Havaldar Exam 202,6 candidates have to score a minimum of marks as set by the exam authority. The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates is 30%, for OBC/EWS is 25%, and for other categories is 20%.

After the release of the SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026, the candidates who will be declared qualified in the CBT Exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar), and Document Verification (only for MTS post).

SSC MTS Document Verification 2026

The candidates who will qualify in the CBT Exam for the MTS post will be called for the document verification process. During this procedure, candidates must carry the original documents. The following documents will be required for verification.

• 10th and 12th certificates
• A valid government ID proof
• Category/PWD certificates (if applicable)
• Documents for equivalent qualifications
• Ex-servicemen status, age relaxation, or government employment (NOC) should also be produced if relevant.
• Any proof of name change after matriculation and other documents mentioned in the admission certificate for document verification are required.

The date for Document Verification and PET will be announced once the results are released.

SSC Havaldar Physical Test 2026

Candidates who will qualify the CBT Exam for the Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) post have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Physical tasks include walking/cycling tests and height-chest-weight measurements as prescribed by SSC. Only those who qualify here proceed further.
