Steps to Fill RRB ALP Application Form 2026

The candidates can submit their application forms through online mode from the official website https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/. The steps to apply online for the RRB ALP 2026 application form are given below:

Step 1: Create an Account

• Open the browser and visit the official website https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.
• On the homepage, click on the link that reads "Click here to apply for pay level-2 post of Assistant Loco Pilot" under the CEN-01/2026 (ALP) - Link for application.
• A new page appears on the screen. Click on the Apply button and choose Create an Account.
• For the ‘Create an Account’ form, fill in your basic details, for example, Personal Information, Aadhar Verification, and Contact Details, and create a PASSWORD. (Password should be a combination of Capital letters, small letters, special characters, and numbers.

Step 2: Application Form

• Candidates must log in using a registered mobile number mail ID, and password to complete the application form.
• Candidates must select the RRB for which they wish to apply and select the posts and zones within the chosen RRB.
• Enter other details, including essential educational qualification details.
• Upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and SC/ST certificate (if applicable) according to the specifications given in the form.
• Candidates must select the trade for Part B of CBT-2, exercise the order of post preference and complete the declaration.
• After filling in all the necessary fields carefully, applicants can see the preview of their application form. They should go through all the details and click on ‘Final Submission’

Step 3: Fee Payment

• After completing step I and step II, the candidate has to pay the requisite examination fee.
• The fee will be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI Services.
• The confirmation page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.
• Download and take a print copy of the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.

RRB ALP Application Fee 2026

To complete the RRB ALP application forms, candidates must have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category. Application fees will be paid in online mode through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI Services. Without the prescribed fee the candidate's application forms will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. Candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) category have to pay Rs. Rs 250/- and the other candidates (except these categories) have to pay Rs. Rs 500/-.This fee shall be refunded, duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
