  • The exam consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 for General Hindi and Paper 2 for General Knowledge & General Science
  • Each paper carries 200 marks
  •  The time duration of each paper is 3 hours.
  • Qualifying marks at the written examination:- Candidates who obtain 36% marks in each paper and 40% marks in the aggregate in the competitive examination shall be considered to have obtained qualifying marks at the examination.

RPSC Deputy Jailor Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center for each session 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam. After this, no candidate will be permitted to enter the examination center.
  • Candidates must carry a copy of the RPSC Deputy Jailor Admit Card. Entry to the center will not be permitted without a clearly printed photo admit card.
  • Candidates must bring the original Aadhaar card (with a clear print) for identification at the examination center. If the photo on the Aadhaar card is old or unclear, they must also bring another original photo ID, such as a driving license, passport, voter ID, etc.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. 
  • Candidates are advised to bring a black/ blue ballpoint pen to the exam venue.
  • Candidates should carefully read all instructions mentioned in the admit card before the exam.
