Railway Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 75000+ Vacancies, Apply Now

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is responsible for conducting various examinations to recuit eligible candidates for NTPC, Junior Engineers (JE), ALP, Technician, Paramedical, Constable, SI, and Group D posts. For the year 2024-25, RRB has released more than 58642 vacancies that have already been announced and is expected to announce more than 75000 vacancies for NTPC, Junior Engineers (JE), ALP, Technician, Paramedical, Constable, SI, Ministerial & Isolated categories, and Group D posts. There are a total of 21 RRBs followed by 16 RRCs. Selection of candidates for these posts is mainly based on a computer-based test followed by physical tests, document verification, skill tests, and medical tests as per the posts.

RRB Railway Vacancy 2024

As the Indian Railway sector is quite big, so a large number of vacancies for different posts are announced. Important Dates for Railway Recruitment 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the exam dates for some posts, the CBT Phase 1 exam will be held from 25th to 29th November 2024 for ALP posts followed by the SI examination from 2nd to 12th December 2024. The official authorities have also specified through RRB Calendar 2024 that computer-based tests for RRB Technician posts will be held from 18th to 29th December 2024. How can I Apply for Railway Recruitment 2024?

To facilitate an easy and smooth application form-filling process for RRB Recruitment 2024, we have shared here the complete step-by-step procedure.

1. First, open your web browser with the help of a stable internet connection and go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board i.e. http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
2. Now, the homepage of the website appears on the screen. Find the respective posts for which you want to apply: NTPC, Group D, Paramedical, Technician, Constable, and SI, etc.
3. Tap on the “Apply Now” link provided in front of the recruitment name.
4. You are redirected to another page. Now first register yourself by clicking on the “New Registration” button.
5. For new registration, candidates are required to provide their e-mail ID along with their mobile number.
6. After registration, a registration number/ID along with the password is issued to the candidates.
7. Use these credentials for logging in, now fill out the application form by providing the necessary details including your qualifications.
8. Once done, pay the application fees through the online payment gateway.
9. Now, submit your application form.

RRB Railway Exam Pattern 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts a CBT examination for the selection of eligible candidates for different posts released by the RRB. The detailed exam pattern for RRB Exam 2024 is shared below.

• The computer-based test is conducted for a total of 100 marks for NTPC, JE, Paramedical, Technician, and Group D posts while for ALP the total marks are 75, and for Constable & SI posts, CBT will be conducted for 120 marks.
• There will only be objective-type/multiple-choice choice questions in the RRB Exam 2024.
• All the Railways computer-based tests will be held for 90 minutes, except for ALP posts which will conducted for 60 minutes.
