Indian Railways has approved vacancies to be filled for various paramedical categories, including Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, X-ray Technician, and other posts. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon release the intent and detailed notification for Paramedical Staff posts. RRB Paramedical 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit to be eligible to apply for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have the requisite minimum Educational/Technical/Professional qualifications indicated for the posts offered, from a recognised Board/University/institute.

RRB Paramedical 2026-27 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the required application fee for RRB Paramedical 2026. The payment of the application fee can be done both online and offline. Payment through Internet banking or debit/credit cards or UPI, or through SBI Bank Challan Payment mode in any branch of SBI, and Post Office Challan Payment mode in any branch of computerized post office.

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for every question attempted wrong. No marks will be deducted for a question left unanswered.

Normalisation of Marks

Shortlisting of Candidates for the DV shall be based on the marks obtained by them in the CBT. However, sometimes the examination may be conducted in multiple sessions. If multiple sessions of CBT are conducted then the marks will be normalised. In such a scenario short listing of candidates for the DV shall be based on the normalised marks.
