National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to end the application process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) exam today, 27th October 2025. This is the final opportunity for aspirants to submit their application forms for the CSIR NET exam. CSIR NET December 2025 Apply Online

CSIR NET is a national-level test conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, or admission to various PhD programs in Indian universities and colleges. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit the CSIR NET Application Form 2025 till the last date i.e. 27th October 2025. After the closure of the application window, the commission will activate the correction facility from 27th to 29th October 2025.

CSIR NET Form Correction 2025

National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide the correction facility to all the registered candidates. Candidates can make corrections in the CSIR NET Application Form 2025 from 30th October to 1st November 2025 (up to 11:59 pm) through the official website https://csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Steps for CSIR NET December 2025 Apply Online

Candidates have to follow these steps to apply for the CSIR NET December 2025 eligibility test.

PART I: Registration

• Fill in basic details and note the system-generated Application Number.
• Enter Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name as per official certificates in capital letters
• Provide Date of Birth in dd/mm/yyyy format as per the 10th class pass certificate
• Use your own mobile number and email ID.

PART II: Complete the Application Form

• You can complete steps like uploading documents, fee payment, and printing confirmation separately.
• Save the form as a draft and complete it later.
• Registration is valid only after successful fee payment.
• Select OBC-NCL only if listed in the central OBC list (not the state list).
• Provide gender and complete postal address with PIN code.
• Choose your CSIR-UGC NET subject from the official list.

PART III: Upload Scanned Images

Photograph

1. Must show 80% of face (no cap/goggles) with a white background.
2. File size is between 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format.

Signature

1. Full signature in running handwriting.
2. File size: 10 kb to 50 kb, JPG/JPEG format.

Other Documents (if applicable)

1. Result Awaited Form, Category Certificate, PwD Certificate.
2. File size is 50 kb to 300 kb in PDF format.

PART IV: Payment of Fee

• Pay via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. The fee details is as follows.

1. General: Rs. 1150/-
2. EWS / OBC – Non-Creamy Layer: Rs. 600/-
3. Category: SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: Rs. 325/-

PART V: Final Checklist

• Confirm eligibility and age criteria.
• Check the correct category, subject, and exam city.
• Keep a printout of the Confirmation Page.
• Ensure your name on the ID matches the Admit Card.

Photographs, signatures, and Certificates are to be uploaded in the appropriate dimensions.

• The recent photograph should be in color or black/white (but with clear contrast).
• The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG format.
