The Common Aptitude Test (CAT) 2023 Exam was conducted on 26th November 2023 in three slots in different cities of India by IIM, Lucknow. This year, a total of 3.28 lakh candidates applied for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 exam, and of them, around 2.88 lahks took the test. Step 1: Visit the official website  Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow www.iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on “Registered Candidate login for CAT 2023”.

Step 3: Enter your User ID and Password and click on Login.

Step 4: On the homepage of the candidate’s portal, click on CAT Answer Key 2023.

Step 5: A new page appears with CAT Answer Key 2023.

Step 6: Download and save the answer key.

Step 7: Now click on Candidate’s Responses to download your CAT Response Sheet PDF and match it with the CAT Answer 2023.

Steps to Challenge CAT 2023 Answer Key

Candidates should follow the steps given below to challenge the CAT Answer Key 2023 from the official website:

Step 1: Visit the official website www.iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on “Candidates Login for Raising Objection (CAT 2023)”.

Step 3: A new login page appears on the screen. Enter your User ID and Password and click on Login.

Step 4: On the homepage of the candidate’s portal, click on “Objection Form”.

Step 5: Fill in the details such as Question number, section, and type of objection that a candidate wants to raise None of the options is a correct answer, More than one option is a correct answer and The answer key is incorrect.

Step 6: Pay the required amount that is shown on the screen following the norm of Rs.1200 per Question.

Step 7: Save the Payment Receipt for future reference.

CAT Marking Scheme 2023

The CAT exam 2023 was held in three slots and at 375 test centers spread across 167 cities in India. There were 66 questions asked in the examination, of which 24 were in Section 1 or Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 20 were in Section 2 or Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and 22 were in section 3 or Quantitative Ability (QA) 22. Out of 66 Questions, 49 were MCQs while 17 were non-MCQs. A candidate is to be awarded 3 marks for every correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer for MCQs while there are no negative marks for Non-MCQs. How to calculate CAT Score?

To calculate your CAT Exam Score 2023, the candidate must follow the marking scheme prescribed by the officials. According to the CAT Marking Scheme, the CAT Score must be calculated in the manner given below:

• For every correct answer, award 3 marks.
• For every incorrect answer in the case of MCQ, deduct 1 mark.
• No deduction is to be made for Non-MCQs.
• Calculate the total CAT Exam Score by deducting the total marks to be deducted for incorrect responses from the total marks scored for the correct responses.

What is CAT Percentile?

CAT Percentile determines the rank of a candidate. CAT Percentile categorizes the candidate based on their scores. It measures the number of candidates who have scored less than a particular candidate. Suppose a candidate (C1) has a CAT Percentile of 95, this means that 95 percentile candidates have scored less than that candidate (C1).
