Candidates can raise objections from 31st July to 8th August 2026 by paying Rs. 50/-. Candidates have to provide valid proof to justify their objections.

Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by following the steps discussed below-

  1. On the homepage of the official website, click on “CEN-08/2025 (NTPC Categories) – Link for viewing of Tentative CBT 1 Isolated Categories Answer Key & Response Sheet.”
  2. Now login with your credentials and click on “Raise Objections”.

Candidates must use the correct marking scheme, i.e., each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer to calculate their tentative scores using the answer key.
