Assam Police Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The candidates who will be applying for the Assam Police Recruitment 2026 have to go through a multiple-stage selection process that will include the following stages;
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Examination
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Written Test
- Walking Test (for certain forest-related posts)
- Oral/Viva Voce

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is conducted to assess the physical fitness of candidates. The test includes Race, Long Jump, and Chin-Up (for male candidates). The minimum qualifying standards are given below.
